After spending two weeks discovering Bali, visiting temples, the main tourist attractions, experiencing ceremonies, and some things off the beaten track, we needed some R&R. We concluded our trip at Balian Beach. We rented a house from our hosts Jamie and Wendy who were the most amazing hosts, the beach house is true Balinese design with all the modern amenities you could imagine. The design is very open plan and the doors slide open to the infinite pool and views of the ocean, with only steps to the beach and the ocean, it really doesn’t get any better.

When first enter this property your eye is drawn to the attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship, from the entry to the master bedroom with floating steps over a water feature full of koi and other fish, the master opens up to a beautifully had crafted Balinese four poster bed draped with a mosquito netting. Either side of the bed has outdoor bathrooms one side has a soaking tub surrounded by exotic plants and in the other outdoor shower and view of the koi water feature.

The main living space is beautifully appointed and very comfortable and inviting, you feel at home right away and want it as your home.

Breakfast was included with our stay with a choice of traditional Balinese or American fare, all cooked to order by Ayu and Agus. These ladies took the best care of all our needs, laundry was included and for a very reasonable additional cost they cook dinner for you, it was the best food we had in the whole of bali, better than any 5 star resort we stayed at.
Also Ayu offers amazing massage it’s so nice to have a massage whilst listening to the ocean, it’s so reasonable we both had massages most day’s.

With the beach just steps outside our door we took several walks along the secluded black sand beach, the only people we saw were either locals or surf enthusiast.

Like all good things we have saved the best untill last, the sunsets were truly majestic, this is a lovers paradise, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
