Wayna Picchu

With our trip to Peru coming to a close, I thought Machu Picchu would be the highlight, until we hiked Wayna Picchu which towered over Machu Picchu, 8924ft vertical climb. The hike is breathtaking in more ways than one, when you can’t climb any more the view is truly amazing and worth the physical challenge. I have to think how and why the Incans built these amazing structures in such difficult surroundings, they were truly brilliant architects.
